Introduction to Ayurveda Course

This home course will introduce you to the teachings of Ayurveda. Deepening your knowledge and understanding on how this 5000 year old medical science works to harmonize the mind, body, soul, and senses. Participates will learn essential Ayurvedic principles and how they relate to their individual nature.

The following topics will be covered through a video series and hands-on practice:

Five elemental theory.

Three biological humors of Ayurveda: Vata, Pitta, Kapha and how they express themselves in the mind/body constitution in both a balanced and imbalanced state

Ayurveda Rhythms: day, life, and seasonal cycles

Daily and seasonal routines (dinacharya, and ritucharya)
