We address issues concerning weight loss and management, insomnia and sleep disturbances, fatigue, digestive issues, constipation, women’s health, hormonal imbalances, PMS, anxiety, high blood pressure, stress management, acne and skin issues, increasing your daily energy and vitality.

Initial Ayurvedic Consultation: 75 minutes*

A consultation with an Ayurvedic Practitioner will determine your mind/body constitution (dosha) and specific imbalances. Based upon these assessments a personalized plan is formulated for you that will include diet and lifestyle suggestions, appropriate exercise and yoga practices, and at times herbal supplements. Meditation, breathing exercises (pranayama), and/or bodywork may also be suggested.

Follow-up Ayurvedic Consultation: 40 minutes*

2-4 weeks after the initial consultation a follow-up visit is schedule to address changes that have occurred in the last few weeks, and to make any adjustments in your personal health care plan. From here the frequency of follow-ups varies based on the your circumstances and concerns. The personal plan that is created for you will follow a rhythm with nature based on the seasons, and to accommodate your individual needs.

 Marma Therapy: 30/60 minutes*

Marma is an energy point accessed on the skin’s surface similar to acupressure and serves as a bridge between body, mind, and spirit. Touching a marma point changes the body’s biochemistry and unfolds changes in one’s makeup; releasing pain in the body and promoting healing. Stimulation of these inner pharmacy pathways signals the body to produce exactly what it needs, including hormones and neurochemicals that heal. Marma is both a diagnostic tool and a simple therapeutic measure to balance the doshas and promote health and well-being.

Abhyanga Ayurvedic Oil Treatment: 60 minutes*

Unlike traditional massage Abhyanga is a body treatment that is done by applying oil in a gentle rhythmic pattern to nourish and balance the nervous system. The Sanskrit word for oil is “Sneha” which also translates to “Love”. There is no greater expression of self-love than this practice of anointing the body with oil, and it is believed that the effects of Abhyanga are similar to those who are saturated with love. Abhyanga can give a deep feeling of stability and warmth, it nourishes the entire body, decreases the effects of aging, lubricates the joints, and increases circulation. It assists in elimination of impurities from the body and moves the lymph aiding in detoxification, and benefits better and deeper sleep.
